Luminous transparent blown glass vase by Bruce Cobb, in a deep plum purple color, with his classic “Lily Pad” raised surface design. The color of this vase is a blend of dark burgundy and amethyst with a splash of root beer. Bruce’s technique is based on the (19th century American) Lily Pad Design, giving the work a clean, contemporary look. Often referred to as “waves,” the Lily Pads, besides being decorative, also perform as grips, making it less likely to slip out of one’s hand. They also provide extra sturdiness to the work. A true League of NH Craftsmen classic. Enjoy fresh flowers in this handblown glass work of art.
