From a young age I would try to replicate the birds I encountered using balsa wood and model paints. Evolving my craft over the past 40+ years into G2 Wildfowl Design.
My wildfowl are mostly miniature in scale, set in their natural habitat so each piece is unique in capturing the essence of the bird in a brief moment in time.
Through much study and research, the more detail and realism I can add to my work the better. Created from tupelo or bass wood, copper wire, sheet brass, acrylics, oils and casting epoxies for water. All types of mediums to put the viewer in a place and time with the natural world.
To date I have won numerous awards at the Ward and S.O.W. carving competitions.
