I began my journey into the world of glass over 30 years ago and during that time, my signature work became a combination of both etching and fusing melded together. I love the shimmering rainbow effects achieved through the use of glass, lustres and metal micas, along with line work added with pen/ink, enamels and sandblast etchings. Beginning in 2007, I started experimenting with a more painterly impressionistic line of landscape work. Primarily sculptural in nature, and using powders, frit, and thin threads of pulled glass, this new work captures images of birch trees, mountain ranges, beaches, and other local landmarks.
