Kait Armstrong has lived in New Hampshire for over twenty years. Her interest in art began at a young age and was encouraged by her family of creative thinkers. She attended Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia where she graduated with a BFA in textile design with an emphasis in color theory. In 2017 she attended a printmaking workshop at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Maine. This experience solidified her love of woodblock printmaking and it has been her primary medium ever since. Kait draws inspiration from beauty in the natural world, and utilizes printmaking to confront social and environmental issues.
