Photography was my first love. Images from pioneers like Alfred Stieglitz and Dorothea Lange, who preserved full-color moments in richly satisfying grayscale, awakened something deep in me.
Marriage and motherhood came along and took priority over my camera. I experimented with other art forms during those years, but it wasn’t until I discovered tapestry weaving in 2017 that the familiar surge of passion I’d felt for photography resurfaced. I have been weaving nearly every day since.
