Having been wood-fired, most of the toasty color you see here is the natural wood ash which melts onto the surface of the clay during the firing process. These are also glazed with a luscious shino (a traditional Japanese glaze) running around the exterior, and a smooth fully glazed interior. Jennie’s earthy pottery is always, expertly formed, well balanced, and beautiful, with absolutely perfect functionality. Made with high-temperature durable stoneware. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
