Adorable white stoneware cup by Connie Turin, featuring colorful, whimsical drawings of a house with a split-rail fence, people in the window, and car driving home through a forested landscape. Connie’s works are formed like pinch pots, then decorated with enhanced incised lines and filled in with color. The inside of the bowl is glazed. The outside is left unglazed, but after the firing process, Connie tenderly sands it to a silky finish, leaving it soft and tactile. Imaginative and whimsical, her work is playful and light, great for engaging children as well as decorative works of art. The interior of this cup is finished with a clear glaze, making it fully functional and food safe.
