Simple celadon soup/salad bowls by Andy Hampton. Celadon is a traditional Japanese glaze with a soft satin finish that ranges in color from white to blue, green, or yellow. Fired on a white stoneware clay, this particular celadon develops some beautiful crazing, further enhancing it’s clean gentle nuance. These bowls nest beautifully together in a stack, and are interchangeable with his blue bowls or yellow bowls, to make a colorful stacking set. Quiet in nature, with good functionality, and a strong Japanese aesthetic, Andy’s pottery reminds us to mindfully enjoy the simple things in life. Microwave and dishwasher friendly.
