Adele Sanborn’s mixed media collage is created using many techniques and media. First, she designed the a rubberstamp of a feather which she then pressed into polymer clay and baked. The piece is strung on a twig and placed over hand made papers. The hand lettered words say: ”Now you will feel no rain, For each of you will be shelter to the other. Now you will feel no cold, For each of you will be warmth to the other. Now there is no more loneliness. Now you are two persons but there is one life before you. Go now to your dwelling place of your togetherness. And may your days be good and long upon the earth. -Apache Wedding Blessing. Measuring 14″ x 24″, the frame is brushed gold metal.
