Fred & Kate Pearce have been a design team since their student days at Syracuse University College of Visual and Performing Arts. They received their B.F.A. degrees from Syracuse University in 1967 – Fred in Sculpture, Kate in Metal Arts. In 1968 they moved to NH and developed a saleable line of cast and hand forged jewelry. They joined the League of NH Craftsmen. They marketed their jewelry through the League and other fine American Craft Galleries. The rural New England surroundings have inspired their work, capturing in precious metal the patterns and rhythms of the Ocean and Mountains. Their Bridal Ring and Hand-Forged jewelry lines are still the mainstay of their production efforts.
