Inspired by cave paintings and Ice Age art found throughout Europe, Asia and North Africa from over 30,000 years ago, Luann Udell creates jewelry and imagined artifacts from polymer clay. Each artifact is created one at a time with very thin layers of polymer clay to recreate the rich grain of old ivory, bone, or stone. This necklace features a polymer clay horse on a 16″ fresh water pearl and peridot strand, and comes with a lovely pair of matching earrings.
“Although we may not know the exact meaning or message of the artifact, the power and mystery of each artifact creates profound echoes in our hearts.” -Luanne Udell
