Artist: Pollaro, Lauren

Lauren Pollaro is a mixed media artist known for her colorful, one-of-a-kind jewelry. With visions of translating her pieces to a larger scale she now also creates sculptural wall pieces. These larger pieces, ranging from 6" to 48", have earned Lauren awards, though jewelry remains her primary focus. Lauren's studio balances the two genres and is filled with an eclectic array of materials; papers, fabrics, metals, enamels, paints and found objects. Lauren's degree is in Fine Art from UNH and various courses have honed her technical skills. She loves to learn new techniques though draws the most inspiration from experimenting and thinking "outside the box".
