Lucy’s note: This is a piece of slag from the stone stack in Franconia. It is teh lovely by-product of the iron industry that supported our region 200 years ago. The slag was poured into the river and was polished as it tumbled over time. There was a similar industry in this area (Gilmanton Iron Works) so slag can probably be found there too!”
Cuff measures approximately 6-1/2 inches around. Stone measures approximately 1/2 inches tall by 3/4 of an inch at widest.
