Artistic and earthy sterling silver and enameled earrings by jeweler Lynn Adams. These earrings were made with a enameling technique Lynn developed and dubbed “souffle,” in which she kiln-fires the sterling and enamel to an extra high heat that causes them to actually blister and bubble together. A caldera is a large cauldron-like hollow that forms shortly after the emptying of a magma chamber in a volcano eruption.
The 3/4″ disc is slightly concave with texture inside and small bits of enamel in soft blue and rust color. Sterling silver ear wires.
