Artist:
Luann is a nationally exhibited fiber and jewelry artist and a professional writer. Her work, often described as enigmatic, mysterious, powerful, expressive, and inspirational, has appeared in books, magazines, newspapers and galleries across the country. Her wall hangings, jewelry and sculpture are inspired by prehistoric art–“ancient stories retold in modern artifacts”. Her popular animal artifacts–horses, bear, fish, birds and otters–echo narrative traditions of antiquity. Each animal spirit tells a unique story, one that often carries personal meaning for collectors. “I start these stories in my heart,” says Luann. “But once they leave my hands, my customers continue them.”
