My love of design and woodworking began in the Hopkins Center Woodworking Studio at Dartmouth College. After graduation, I served four years as a cavalry officer in the United States Army including a 13 month combat tour in Iraq. Upon completing my service, I enrolled at the North Bennett Street School in Boston, Massachusetts to pursue a career in furniture making. This foundation of fine craftsmanship is reflected in my contemporary work where traditional techniques are combined with more organic, curvilinear forms to create furniture that is intended to last for generations. Today I work in Concord, NH creating custom furniture for clients throughout the United States.
