After achieving a jewelry & silversmithing degree at London Metropolitan University in the UK, she set up her workshop in New Hampshire and in 2010, Stephanie became a member of the League of NH Craftsmen. Stephanie is drawn to using wire as a technique to create volume without the weight and heft that is associated with a solid 3D form. Drawing inspiration from organic shapes and fluid lines, I combine them with a structured piece using an architectural sensibility; adding depth and using contrasting finishes to accentuate the design. The end result that she aspires to is an unexpected and attractive shape that is lightweight and visually stunning.
