Turning colorful wood into useful, beautiful tools has been my passion and sole support since 1978. I feel my dad’s mechanical ingenuity and mom’s artistic skill inspired my career. Following graduation from SFSU (Creative Arts~Interdisc.) the “Street Artist” community of Berkeley, CA, embraced me. Thirty years later, returning to care for those elderly parents, I found a niche for my handcrafted tools in NH’s fiber arts community. My original designs of turned-wood seam ripper, magnetic scissor pendant, and edge presser were featured in magazines of the trade! I’m thrilled that in small ways my work supports the creative expression of others, continues to evolve, and defends the rainforest.
