Christiane Hilbrig-Tauroney

Christiane started her Goldsmith training at the Kunsthandwerk- Schule in Munich, Germany and apprenticed at the Atelier Eidelin(Augsburg, Germany). Varied travels landed Christiane in Camden,ME where she further honed her innovative style under the tutelage of Etienne Perret. Christiane has been designing and creating custom fabricated jewelry, using high carat gold, sterling silver and an array of fine pearls and gemstones. Each piece is carefully assembled using the old technique of a mouth held blow torch that Christiane brought with her. As a state juried member, Christiane has won the Best in Jewelry Award and Best in Jewelry with Stones Award at the Craftsmens Fair.
