We are excited to welcome renowned polymer clay artist Kathleen Dustin as a featured demonstrator during the reception. Kathleen teaches her craft and exhibits her work across the country and around the globe. Recognized for her exceptional contributions to art and craft, Kathleen’s pieces may be found in the collections of many museums including the Museum of Fine Arts Boston; and the Philadelphia Museum of Fine Arts.
Additionally, polymer clay jewelry produced by the women of the Samunnat Women’s Shelter in Nepal will be available in the Exhibition Gallery. Kathleen has worked with the women’s shelter for about 5 years, mostly over Zoom, but she also has been on 3-week visits in 2023 and 2025. She teaches them elements of design, assists in the development of skills and most importantly watches them increase their self-confidence and self-worth. Proceeds from jewelry purchases directly benefit the Nepali artists.
