| I love making things. I’ve been lucky to’ve had a few good teachers (albeit unofficial, uncertified) who taught me how to design and how to have integrity. I try to design from a quiet mind, subconsciousness, however I’m influenced by nature, machinery, architecture, archaeology, animals, so many things and those things inevitably show up in my work. I have a workshop in Portsmouth, NH, at the Button Factory, a building where I had my first job as a jeweler’s assistant (apprentice?) 38 years ago. So many years and I still love it every day. |
