Kathy’s jewelry reflects her deep connection to the natural world, drawing inspiration from the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the trails of Bauneg Beg Mountain in Maine, known colloquially as Bonny Mountain. Her studio, located at the mountain’s base in North Berwick, is where she blends traditional silversmithing techniques with modern design elements to create elegant, wearable art. Through clean lines and a thoughtful mix of textures and metals, her work mirrors the light, depth, and beauty of the landscapes she cherishes.
With a background in jewelry and metalsmithing from the University of New Hampshire and additional studies at the Maine College of Art and the Alice Carroll Design Center, Kathy brings years of expertise to her craft. Each piece, whether polished silver or textured copper, tells a story of the mountains and trails that inspire her. Her jewelry invites wearers to carry a piece of nature’s serenity with them, offering both a bold statement and a connection to the rugged beauty of the outdoors.
