Event Description:
In this class you will make a mushroom ornament and embellish it with beads and metallic thread. As well as explore basic wool sculpting techniques; wrapping, shaping, blending colors, and surface felting. And learn about using felting tools, various gauges of needles, and types of wool best suited for felting.
This is a great class for all levels of needle felters –beginner to experienced– though some felting experience is helpful. All the skills learned are relevant to more advanced projects but the subject is very forgiving and allows for a lot of creative expression.
COST: $115
**An additional materials fee of $30 includes a supply packet that includes enough wool for two or three mushrooms, felting needles and felting pad.
Materials fees are paid directly to the instructor at the class.
