During my life I have explored a number of artistic outlets. Welding was not one that came naturally to me. Since 2017 I have been focusing on honing this skill. Now my creative side allows me to build sculpture made from reclaimed metal materials. If I’m not working in the shop, I’m collecting old parts from numerous sources. I am constantly on the hunt for interesting shapes of steel. My art is made mostly of recognizable pieces. Some though, need explanation. I love to watch people examine a sculpture and discover what it is made out of. This makes for great conversation! Some days my brain cannot connect the parts. Other days a project comes together like it has a set of directions. On most days I feel like Superman, bending steel with my bare hands.
