My photography has been an ongoing adventure. Earlier days of “recording” surroundings have evolved to seeking a more nuanced, personal view of our natural world. Straightforward shots of landscapes and wildlife have moved to deeper explorations. I bring the camera close or seek reflected scenes to find textures, patterns and colors that create a different perspective. Autumn leaves become a collage of color on a pond, a familiar duck, a feathered abstraction. My images, I hope, offer the challenge to look more carefully and see with a more perceptive eye.
