I work in wood because it’s the structural material that appeals most to our senses.
It is friendly to touch. It’s warm and not too hard.
It smells good – in the forest, in the shop or in the home.
It sounds good. It has a soft and pleasing tone.
And of course, with just a little finishing it’s a delight to the eye.
