Maureen Redmond-Scura has been a bead artist for over 20 years. Her work experiments with color, texture, shape and pattern in pieces inspired by nature, history, math and other encounters enhanced by imagination. Maureen has a special affinity for bead crochet, but uses peyote, herringbone, right angle weave and other stitches in flat, tubular and three dimensional forms. A member of the NH Women’s Caucus for Art as well, Maureen’s work has exhibited around the state for both organizations.
