| The common denominator in all my work is glass; it is at the heart of everything I create. For me it is where the energy lies. I have devoted many years experimenting & perfecting my own techniques that I consider “the art of fastening”. Combining glass in a variety of ways with materials such as wood, metal & stone adds a wonderful contrast & structural integrity. Many of my pieces also include antique “finds”. Creating art that includes objects with a past life sparks my imagination & appeals to the treasure hunter in all of us! A new story unfolds as I layer & fasten.All of my one-of-a-kind creations hold curiosity, discovery & a love of beauty to be enjoyed for many years. |
