Lisa A. Ciaccia creates decorative art with gourds in the form of vases, birdhouses and bowls. A marriage of her craftsmanship skills and artistic visions; pushing the limits to achieve intricate designs during the cutting and carving processes and using an ink technique which give her gourds a lasting marbleized transparent color, accenting the natural beauty and integrity of the gourds shell and it’s wonderful imperfections. Lisa is an established artist holding dual memberships with the Whistler House Museum of Art & Lowell Art Assoc., as well as the Brush Art Gallery, Newburyport Art Assoc. & Nashua Area Art Assoc. Each day brings a reason to be grateful, enjoy the Journey!
