I have been working with natural river and beach stone since 1990. At that time I was also working as a boat captain on the coast of Maine. I was given a stone vase made in Japan and fell in love with everything about it. I have always surrounded myself with art and natural objects and here was a way to make art from natural objects. Stones quickly became my full time work and 30, years later after many changes and refinements I’m still at it.
I have been a member of the League of NH Craftsmen since 1991. My work has sold in stores and galleries across the country and has been in national catalogs.
I have kept my work personal and still am hands on at every step of artistry and crafting.
