I make sculptural and FUNctional objects using porcelain and stoneware clays. Individual series and large projects are created in my home studio where I am surrounded by a world of forests, lakes, rivers, and mountains. This environment feeds my soul. My approach to making is intuitive, responsive, and inventive. The objects that I create are influenced by the dynamic forms and forces in the natural world and inspired by our innate need to experience and participate in beauty. Working from a place of quiet reflection and action, my hope is that my organic sculptures and pottery will become a part of your everyday life of sharing, community, and joy!
