| Paper mache became my passion over 20 years ago. Each piece begins with a strong wire armature, then the shape is built up with tissue and foil. Then paper mache is applied, which could be unbleached tissue paper, paper towel or paper pulp (made with egg cartons). With every dog, cat, horse, pig or human I create, there is a story in my head. When it’s all dry, I get to paint and decorate. I love color and creating different characters. Doing custom work of people’s pets or whatever they can think up, is just as exciting to me as it is to my client. Want a cat dressed like a nun? Maybe a camouflage moose?
