| Kathy Kemp, an assemblage artist from MA now based in VT, works with found and timeworn materials to create modern compositions that explore balance, renewal, and quiet tension. Years in geriatric care shaped her respect for endurance and for age as a record of living. Through her assemblages, she invites viewers to look closely—to notice the eloquence of the overlooked and to find, in transformation, both dignity and renewal. The pieces lead the process, their forms and histories guiding compositions that rest between stillness and motion, memory and design.
Kemp studied at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and exhibits her work throughout New England. |
