Karen Eisenberg has an extensive background in jewelry design and metalsmithing and holds BA and MFA degrees from Rhode Island School of Design. She works with precious and semiprecious materials combining silver, gold, gemstones and beach stones. Her work is strongly influenced by natural forms and textures that provide inspiration to create jewelry that is new, refined and classic. Karen is also influenced by different genres from contemporary to ethnic cultures and incorporates those influences into varying surfaces and patterns. Karen is a long-time resident of the Mount Washington Valley. Away from her studio, she enjoys spending time with her family and being active outside.
