I have been studying Nantucket basket making for 10 years. I started at the Greymist studio in Cambridge Mass and then was lucky enough to meet my mentor Brenda Burton in NH. Most of my work has been created for fundraising and donations helping non profits and other worthy causes. I have been a juried member at the Exeter NH craftsman ship, but primarily specialize in custom orders. There is something magical about working with people to pick their woods, design and adornments to create a lasting legacy for them that inspires me. I am a traditional basket maker but have my sights on creating a type of ” New Hampshire Nantucket basket”- I Love teaching.
