My knives result from my artistic passion to authentically represent historical traditions through knowledge gained from archeologic source material and training. I combine this passion with a foundational knowledge of metallurgy acquired from my formal education. As a polar engineer I traveled to inspirational places like Antarctica. I aim to produce aesthetically pleasing, functional art that is designed and constructed to last for many lifetimes. All my blades are hand forged at the anvil and I heat treat and finish all my knives and design and construct all handles and fittings. I live in Lebanon, NH with my wife, Jennifer. Together we produce award winning maple syrup and honey. |
