Harry Besett

Involved with the League since their move to East Alton, NH in 1984, Harry and Wendy Besett’s award winning blown glass has been exhibited and sold throughout the world for over forty years. Harry’s work with master glassmakers in Sweden and the US and Wendy’s BFA in Ceramics enable them to produce a wide variety of distinct products suitable for everyday use and also collectable art glass capturing their shared New England landscapes. At the annual Craftmen’s Fair, while Wendy tends to the booth, Harry is often seen demonstrating to all, explaining the process and more importantly, why it is important to open your life to objects that remind you of the power of human creativity.
