| Daniel Faia has been a professional woodcarver/furnituremaker since 1994. He operates a studio and workshop program in Rollinsford, NH. He is a graduate of North Bennet Street School. In addition to commission work, Dan teaches extensively. His portfolio ranges from furniture to architectural elements and woodcarvings. He has published articles in Fine Woodworking and other media. He produced a video on reproducing a Queen Anne chair for Fine Woodworking. Dan has participated in presentations/exhibits for organizations such as Colonial Williamsburg, Concord Museum, MFA-Boston, and Old State House-Boston. He received the 2023 SAPFM Cartouche Award and the 2024 NBSS Distinguished Alumni Award. |
