I became juried in traditional rug Hooking statewide in 1989.
I create a variety of hooked pieces ranging from clothing apparel, purses, jackets, rugs, home décor and wall pieces . All pieces have a range of hand dyed techniques which give texture, interest and depth. I have been published in magazines and books and have lectured (Elizabeth Blacks book on Hooking Animals, Jessie Turbaynes books, Celebrations)
Although not one to enter competition, I was the recipient of Viewers Choice both in 2012 and 2013 . At that time Green Mountain rug Guild was the largest show in the country. I am also certified with the McGown Teachers Workshop organization est in 1951.
