Anne Behrsing has been handcrafting fine art jewelry in her studio for more than 25 years. Her combination of sterling silver, 14K, 18K, & 22K gold, textures, checkerboard and striped patterns create a contemporary style that is recognizable. The checkerboard and striped patterns are created by a technique called Mokume’Gane Parquetry an intricate process similar to fine wood inlays. The textures enhance the pieces creating a subtle matte contrast to the smooth polished metal parguetry patterns. Each one of a kind piece of jewelry is handcrafted with attention to craftsmanship and design.
