A lifelong classical pianist, Amy worked professionally as a calligrapher and graphic designer for 20 years in Boston before devoting her time to making jewelry.
Amy’s work is inspired by the natural world, and draws upon memories from childhood summers in rural Connecticut to her more recent adventures climbing the peaks of the NH White Mountains. Tree bark, lichens and wildlife are her muses; vitreous enamel on copper with silver, her medium.
A League member juried in Metal since 2013, Amy shows regionally, avidly explores the woodlands around her, and continues to play the piano.
