Adam Nudd-Homeyer is the 7th-generation craftsman behind Tappan Chairs, which began in Sandwich, NH in 1819. While based in a tradition of using historic equipment dating back to their earliest days, Tappan Chairs of the 21st century blend the soul of history into an elegant form that has proven to cross generations. This transcendent appeal is exemplified in wide ranging media coverage, including NHPR, and the honors Adam and Tappan Chairs have received with a recent Best of NH award, a tremendous Kickstarter campaign, and designation as the sole chairmaker of the only living Shaker Community at Sabbathday Lake as part of a historic collaboration with Chilton Furniture.
