Based in Enfield, NH, George Merrill has been working in mixed media for the past four years. Recently, he has moved from refinishing furniture to creating and building one-of-a-kind steamships. George uses found objects, specifically antique pieces from the USA and abroad.
George combines his passion for antiques with his love of collecting small boats and ships. His artwork is a brilliant myriad of textures and materials that tell a unique and compelling story. His work is extremely detailed and has a memorable impact on the observer in any room, large or small.
