Events > Craft Stories Exhibition

Event Description:

This exhibition celebrates the work of the ten artists featured in the League’s Craft Stories educational video series, and also the feature-length film, A Handmade Life. The film’s director, Ian Scura of Windwood Productions, received the Filmmaker of the Year award at the 2024 NH Film Festival. The film is now scheduled to air on NHPBS in April – air dates are HERE.

Both the Craft Stories series and A Handmade Life look into the personal and professional journeys and inspirations of artists who are juried members of the League in basketry, glass blowing and lampworking, wood turning, photography, printmaking, knifemaking, weaving, clay and musical instruments.

The Craft Stories exhibition will open during the reception on March 20 and will then be available to view during League Headquarters office hours, Monday–Thursday 8:30am–4:30pm through May 8.
