Jeanne Bennett

Juried Member Since 2006

Jeanne Bennett has been making jewelry since the 1970s. She first studied at Penland School of Crafts, North Carolina. Now, over decades, she has honed her unique skills and style in metalwork by creating and teaching in her home studio. Jeanne translates inspiration from her natural surroundings into silver and sometimes gold and bronze. Her work features a wide array of jewelry-making techniques, most notably hand-forged silver pieces with bold forms and functional designs like her signature spiral hoop earrings. Many original designs feature one-of-a-kind cabochons, and every piece is thoughtfully crafted as a wearable piece of art.
