Event Description:
Join us at the League of NH Craftsmen – Center Sandwich Fine Craft Gallery on Friday, September 6th 2024 through Sunday, September 8th from10:00 am – 4:00 pm for a Simply Dynamic Sampler Quilts Workshop with instructor Linda Merwin.
Class requirements:
Purchase the book, which can be provided in class or you may buy it ahead of time. Knowledge of basic quilting skills. A selection of material in dark, medium, and light values that speak to your theme (suggested- 6 of each value) The instructor will willing to set up a time to meet students at a fabric store to help select materials.
In this three-day workshop, working from the book of the same title, by Marianne Hatton, we will design and sew a wall hanging that is uniquely yours. Starting the 4” and 6” quilt blocks of your choosing, we will begin to create a layout for your hanging, drawing inspiration from a theme e.g. favorite season, memories of a trip or vacation, or a favorite place. You will marvel as your hanging comes together in front of your eyes, each one beautiful in its originality.
Tuition is $140.00 per student.
Registration form and full payment must be received at least 1 week prior to the class to ensure your place. Failure to make full payment may result in the loss of your space in the class.
