Marcia has been weaving for over 50 years. A fourth generation clothing designer she is recognized for the subtlety of color work woven into chenille garments and accessories. She refers to her weaving as painting with fibers. Her garments are “Handwoven Comfort”. She is now also hand painting Silk Scarves. Exhibiting her work throughout the United States for the last 40 years, Marcia has won many awards from such places as Coconut Grove in Fl. to the Bruce Museum in CT. She has exhibited at the prestigious Smithsonian Craft Show in D.C., served on the board for the Vermont Crafts Council and has been a juror for the ACC shows.
