My work combines some great joys of my life. As a Landscape Architect and Master Gardener I have a strong affinity for growing things. Having raised sheep I have a fascination for the history and utility of felt. I “paint” botanically inspired designs with beautifully dyed wool on silk using the traditional wet felting process.
I have evolved to create strong nature inspired patterns on fashion and decor. The support of salon de cinq has been priceless. I have loved being part of the community of artists in Boston, Baltimore, Washington DC and Philadelphia. My work has been worn by women in Sonoma, New York and Paris. A felted wall piece hangs in a luxury hotel in Las Vegas.
