I have been a state juried furniture designer craftsman since 1983. My work features sculptural designs often rooted in traditional forms utilizing domestic hardwoods including figured walnut, black cherry and tiger maple. Both Wharton Esherick and Robert Whitley had an impact on my approach to furniture design and construction.
Over the years I have produced all the furniture for two homes as well as other commissions nationwide. My work has been shown at the Currier Gallery, the Society of Arts and Crafts in Boston as well as numerous League of New Hampshire exhibits. My Goal is to produce functional lasting designs of the highest quality materials.
