Payne & Elise have shared their love of the countryside in their work and with each other for over 30 years. Elise brings her background in Folk Art, along with a sense of joy and whimsy to play with Payne’s mastery of traditional blacksmithing techniques. Together they have created unique original handcrafted iron and torch cut steel for home & gardens throughout New England. They recently completed the commission to create an original public sculpture for the town of Wilmington, VT. Their work can be seen at many of the NH League fine craft galleries, and at the 90th annual Craftsmen’s Fair!
